As Technical Service and Development Manager, Robbie Owens leverages his 40 years of engineering, production management, and sales experience in the textile and sewn products industries to help CTC customers achieve maximum benefits and improvements from their current and new CTC products.

Robbie began his career as a yarn manufacturing engineer, where he developed a strong foundation in textile operations and process optimization. His broad experience in the cut and sew segment includes serving as a Plant Manager, overseeing daily operations, workforce management, and quality control initiatives. Before joining Champion Thread in 2018, Robbie directed sales for a US-based thread supplier, working closely with customers to deliver tailored solutions for their production needs.

Robbie is passionate about customer success and continuously seeks innovative ways to help clients achieve maximum benefits and improvements from Champion Thread’s products. His 40 years of experience in engineering, production management, and sales within the textile and sewn products industries enable him to help our customers maximize the value of their resources and investments. He studied Textile Management at NC State School of Textiles and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bryan College, combining technical expertise with business acumen to drive results.
