Grant Spangler

As VP of Manufacturing, Grant Spangler oversees Champion Thread’s manufacturing operations, including winding, twisting, and dyeing, as well as warehousing, quality, and sustainability initiatives. He plays a key role in strategically integrating technology and elevating workforce capabilities to support the company’s continued robust growth. Grant’s advanced expertise in Manufacturing Planning, Quality Management, Manufacturing Processes, Supervisory, Technical Services, Technical Support, and Production Management enables him to drive operational excellence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

With over 25 years of experience in the textile industry, Grant brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to Champion Thread. He previously served as Director of Manufacturing at CTC for 12 years, where he was instrumental in planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of manufacturing before being promoted to Vice President in 2024.

Earlier in his career, Grant held pivotal roles as Quality Manager and Plant Manager at Spectrum Dyed Yarns, Inc., further honing his skills in ensuring product quality and operational efficiency.

Grant holds a BS degree in Textile Management from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Gardner Webb College. His commitment to education is reflected in his role as an Adjunct Instructor in Industrial Management at Cleveland Community College, where he helps develop the next generation of industry professionals.
